Isn't there hydrogen already in the water?

What does SPE/PEM technology do?

SPE (Solid Polymer Electrolyte) and PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) technology separates hydrogen from other gases during electrolysis. How do I use it?

What type of water should I use?

Any tap or filtered water works. Filtered water is preferred as it allows for higher hydrogen concentrations, but tap water is fine — the gas venting system removes chlorine and other byproducts that might be present in standard tap water.

How do I know it's actually working?

You'll see tiny bubbles (similar to champagne) during the cycle, and the water has a noticeably smoother taste.
